Larksfield Place Welcomes Michael Hambley as President & CEO
The Larksfield Place Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Michael Hambley has joined Larksfield Place as President and Chief Executive Officer.
He began his position on June 1, 2020.
Michael comes to Larksfield Place with a breadth of experience in continuing care retirement communities, healthcare, and pastoral ministry. Most recently, he served as the Executive Director of Friendship Village Chesterfield in St. Louis, Missouri. Previously, he served as the President and CEO of Ascension Senior Living’s largest Life Plan Community campus and multisite operation in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Earlier in his career, Michael was the Administrator of the Catholic Care Center in Wichita, Kansas.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University, a Doctor of Ministry from Western Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts from Spring Arbor University.
Michael said, “I especially enjoy the relational aspect of senior residential services at Larksfield Place. It is community life at its best! Larksfield has a remarkable tradition of enriching the life dynamic of both residents and staff. Becoming a partner with Larksfield’s popular and highly skilled team of leaders is an added bonus in returning to Wichita!”
Michael is married, with four children.
