The primary function of the Line Cook is the preparation of daily meals. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of food for residents, employees, and visitors under the direction of the Chef or Lead Cook.
Hours 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, required to work every other weekend
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must have a current physical examination showing freedom from certain types of communicable diseases.
- Must obtain a food handlers card from Sedgwick County Health Department within 30 days of employment.
Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
