Larksfield Place, Wichita's premier provider of senior housing and healthcare, has a rare leadership opportunity for a Clinical Director of Home Health and Hospice services. Larksfield Place is a non-profit retirement community (CCRC) with a 30 year history of excellence in care and service. It is locally owned and managed and nationally known as a leader and innovator in senior healthcare and housing. Home Health and Hospice care services is a growing service within Larksfield Place's abundance of care services and we are looking for the right candidate to lead us in our growth. The primary function of the Home Health Clinical Director is to organize and direct the day-to-day clinical services provided by the Home Health Department in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations, and to ensure and maintain the highest quality nursing care for all clients. The ideal candidate will have prior Home Health or Hospice leadership experience with demonstrated success in building and sustaining a team. We would like someone with Joint Commission experience as well as experience with quality improvement initiatives and excellent care standards. QUALIFICATIONS: • RN License • Bachelors degree in Nursing or a related field of study • Must have current physical examination showing freedom from certain types of communicable disease. • Must have unexpired Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Kansas. • Must have at least one year of related Nursing experience, with a working background in Home Health, along with the ability to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile clients. • Must possess ability to understand and comply with applicable Federal, State and local regulations and requirements. • Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and to direct professional and non-professional personnel. • Must have current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Card (CPR) issued by recognized provider such as American Heart Association or American Red Cross that includes hands-on practice and in-person skills assessment or be able to obtain CPR training and card within 30-days of hire date. • Prefer intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Outlook, Windows, Excel, and Word. • Prefer previous work experience in an office environment operating standard office equipment (e.g., copier, computer, etc.).
