When I came to Larksfield Place, I never thought that I would be here twenty-two years. But, now I am so glad that I am. It began when a friend told me about a position in the Snack Bar. I had another position elsewhere and was quite happy there. But I interviewed for the Larksfield job. The rest is history. I was a single mother of a 16 year-old son. My boss thought it was very important to be involved in family things, so it was a perfect situation. I was able to do what I needed to do with my job and still have time for family.
I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I am where I am supposed to be. I love being at Larksfield Place. I feel very lucky to work in a place where the people I serve actually cares about staff the way our residents do.
